Why accept Polygon with Payora

How to accept Polygon in 3 steps

    Create a merchant account

    Register at payora.money and get your API key + secret. Point Payora at your own Polygon public key (xPub / account) so it can derive receive addresses — the private key stays offline.

    Add the checkout

    Install a ready CMS module (WooCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Magento, WHMCS and 17 more) or call POST /v1/invoice and redirect the buyer to the hosted checkout.

    Verify the webhook

    When the Polygon payment is final, Payora POSTs a signed invoice.paid webhook. Verify the HMAC signature, then release the order — idempotently.

Who holds the Polygon I accept?

Payora does. Receive addresses are derived from a platform key, the payment is credited to your balance, and you withdraw it to your own wallet — 1.5% plus the network fee on the Free plan, a $50 minimum, up to 10 business days. Payouts are signed by a person from keys kept offline — that is why it takes days, not minutes; meanwhile the balance is yours and visible in the dashboard.

What does it cost to accept Polygon?

0% to accept — you only pay the Polygon on-chain network fee. A fee applies only when money moves out: 1.5% on payouts, transfers and withdrawals on the Free plan, plus the network fee of the coin being sent, which applies to a payout or a withdrawal (minimum withdrawal $50).
