Why accept Cosmos with Payora

Add Cosmos checkout to any site and take payments on the Cosmos Hub network without card acquiring and without chargebacks. At Payora every invoice gets its own address, so two payments never land on the same one. The server never broadcasts a transfer on its own — the operator does that.

You pay 0% to accept — only the Cosmos network fee applies. A fee appears only when funds move out: 1.5% on payouts, transfers and withdrawals on the Free plan (less on the paid ones), and anything sent on-chain also costs that coin's network fee. How to accept Cosmos in 3 steps

    Create a merchant account

    Register at payora.money and get your API key + secret. Point Payora at your own Cosmos public key (xPub / account) so it can derive receive addresses — the private key stays offline.

    Add the checkout

    Install a ready CMS module (WooCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Magento, WHMCS and 17 more) or call POST /v1/invoice and redirect the buyer to the hosted checkout.

    Verify the webhook

    When the Cosmos payment is final, Payora POSTs a signed invoice.paid webhook. Verify the HMAC signature, then release the order — idempotently.

Who holds the Cosmos I accept?

Payora does. Receive addresses are derived from a platform key, the payment is credited to your balance, and you withdraw it to your own wallet — 1.5% plus the network fee on the Free plan, a $50 minimum, up to 10 business days. Payouts are signed by a person from keys kept offline — that is why it takes days, not minutes; meanwhile the balance is yours and visible in the dashboard.

What does it cost to accept Cosmos?

0% to accept — you only pay the Cosmos on-chain network fee. A fee applies only when money moves out: 1.5% on payouts, transfers and withdrawals on the Free plan, plus the network fee of the coin being sent, which applies to a payout or a withdrawal (minimum withdrawal $50).
